I’ve been spending most of my time on this website sticking up some bootleg goodness, and I haven’t been doing the random rock ‘n roll jumble that I created this website to do. I realized something while I was listening to tunes one day. There really are a LOT of cover songs out there. If you think about it, musicians have been covering the songs of other musicians forever. It’s nothing new, but sometimes it can be a lot of fun. It puts a new twist on a song, and can sometimes introduce a fan to another band they might have ignored. Hell, sometimes covers can be even more well-known than the original, depending on what the original was. The only harm that can come from a cover is the bitching of fans, but, seriously, who gives a fuck?

Sit back. Relax. Have fun. And, if you feel like it later, tell me what your favorite cover song on this thing was.

Welcome once again to the Rock ‘N Roll Asylum! This time around, I’m done with tribute shows and I’m going back to what I have the most fun doing – bringing out a variety of tunes from different and unique artists, but this time I’m keeping it in the predominantly metal realm. Fair warning.
